About A. Mantei

A.Mantei's creation of watches with creativity and traditional craftsmanship is at the core of our unique concept of mechanical watches. They handcraft all dials, minute and hour hands, as well as the sterling silver case, rotors, escapement components, all engravings, and dial painting! A-Mantei watches are produced in single pieces. A-Mantei manufactures individual watches which are produced only once in their respective designs and are therefore truly one-off watches!

For individual components, designs are first drafted, dimensional drawings are drawn, and then hand-fabricated. The hands are transferred to steel or gold plates, sawed out by hand with a saw, then filed, sanded, chamfered, blued, satin-brushed, and polished. So, all production steps are done by hand!

A.Mantei Watch Time Adjustment Method

Winding a watch is a complicated job, but for many watch enthusiasts, it's part of the fun of interacting with a watch.
- Pull the crown outwards with one push
- Set the watch to the exact local time.
-Push in the crown and turn clockwise until tight.
- The crown is pushed firmly into position 1 and the watch starts to run.

Can I wind an A. Mantei Watch?

A.Mantei watches should not be overwound when manually wound. now, A. Mantei designs watch that are never overwound no matter how you wind them. Once maximum air volume is reached, the winder simply disengages. However, keep in mind that this is not always the case. This means that Audemars Piguet watches without this technical capability risk over-winding. If you do this, the spring will break and need to be replaced.

A.Mantei has created sophisticated mechanical watches with complex functions, and different styles have slightly different adjustment methods. The difference is that it is best to refer to the instruction manual of the corresponding watch so as not to damage your beloved watch.
